Four Different Types Of Water Jets To Have In Your Backyard Water Features

Because you're going to be shopping for backyard fountains, you are most likely thinking about what different kinds you'll find out there. Well, you will find types that are essentially like bird baths, but also still circles the water all-around to keep it from becoming stagnant. And there are styles with streams of water coming out. There are actually a lot of different kinds of water jets, but here we are going to talk about 4 of them specifically.

Fountains with Tiered jets:

- this is where there are several levels of water jets coming from the fountain. There is going to be more than 1 tier to the fountain, occasionally found having 3 or even 4 basins each spraying jets of water into the basin beneath it. Of course the last basin is just to contain the water, and let it to go back up, and start the cycle all over again.

A Geyser Fountain:

- this fountain generates an upward stream of water, which generally does not go all that high up, and looks a little similar to white water rapids. This can either be within a fountain, or a backyard water pond as well. For the fountain design they'll generally not go very far up, and will ordinarily come from the middle of the basin to allow the water to remain inside.

Water Bell Fountains:

- this type of fountain produces what seems like a single wide jet of water that rise up from the middle of the fountain, and tumble outwards right into a bell shape created from the water. It really has a fairly awesome effect, and they are rather widespread in malls and shopping centres. Yet, they do make smaller styles intended for the backyard garden

Domed Water Fountains:

- this sort of fountain is much like the bell fountain, but that it uses numerous different jets of water coming from the center of the fountain and shoot up and outwards setting up a dome effect with various streams of water. Almost like a domed cage if you wish.

So there you have it, four different types of water jets coming from your backyard features. Which one is the one to suit your needs? Clearly, only you are able to actually determine that. It really all is dependent upon what you'll like viewing whilst you are in your backyard. Or the style you want your garden to take on. The list can go on and on. But ultimately, it's truly up to you to decide.
